Tips to Prepare for Your Home Appraisal

Buying a home is exciting but can be stressful. Use this checklist to help you get ready for your appraisal and make the process go smoothly.

Gather important documents:

Purchase contract, listing sheet, previous appraisal (if available)

Make sure the property is accessible:

Unlock gates, doors, and any locked areas like garages or basements

Clean and tidy your home

Clear clutter to allow easy access for the appraiser
